Listservs & Social Media

With the rapid growth of time-sensitive information relevant to our mission and our members, we use listservs and social media to facilitate the sharing of information. Below are descriptions of these freely available tools and links to access them.

We also distribute a monthly E-News to keep stakeholders informed about our events, activities and opportunities for involvement. CCPH members automatically receive the same information as Member Highlights and do not need to subscribe.

Several communications tools are open only to CCPH members: Announcements that are customized to member-identified interests are sent out through our online membership directory and listservs that are operated by CCPH Member Interest Groups. To tap into these member-only resources, become a member of CCPH today!

CCPH Listservs

CCPH Social Media

In addition to the usual postings of news items such as conferences and funding opportunities, what distinguishes CCPH listservs is the commitment of subscribers to ask questions or seek advice and then summarize and share the responses so that everyone can benefit from the information they gathered.

The Community-Based Participatory Research listserv is a virtual meeting place for the growing network of people involved and interested in CBPR. Our largest and most popular listserv, it has over 4,600 subscribers from community, academic, government, philanthropic and other settings.

The Community-Based Participatory Research Ethics listserv is a virtual meeting place for the growing network of people involved and interested in CBPR ethics.

The Community-Based Participatory Research Jobs listserv regularly announces job and fellowship opportunities pertaining to community-based participatory research, service-learning and community-academic partnerships.

The Community Network for Research Equity & Impact listserv is open to individuals involved or interested in research who are community activists, community organizers, patient advocates or staff or volunteers with community-based organizations or patient advocacy organizations. The Community-Engaged Scholarship listserv shares information and resources concerning the conduct of community-engaged scholarship, the academic review and reward system for community-engaged faculty, and the dissemination of products of community-engaged scholarship.

The Anchor Institutions listserv shares information and resources related to leveraging the anchor institution roles of colleges, universities, hospitals and health systems as employers, real estate developers, conveners and advocates.
